Take Charge of Your Life!
Are you a Change-Director or Change-Martyr?
Are You a Change-Director? This eBook steers you in the right direction to make a decision for change and then proceed through the 8-step Action Plan, which spells out how to get your ducks in a row. Several women have told me that they wished they had guidance like this when they were going through a tough transitional time in their lives.
A Change-Martyr is someone who voluntarily suffers for the sake of duty. She believes there’s a greater value to some higher cause than to getting her own needs met or finding her true self. She remains passive when decisive action is called for & let's others make choices for her. Sometimes, she makes no decision, which of course, is a choice in itself. Then, her circumstances take over and produces her life. This loop continues and her next actions are then driven by indecision. And, again, life happens to her.
By contrast, a Change-Director
makes plans and takes action quickly. Like a movie director, she takes responsibility for the production that is her life. She’s also a realist. She takes control over what she actually can control – like her own behavior. She expresses her needs in a tactful, clear manner. She is innovative in getting them met. Compromising on petty issues, she takes a strong stand on matters of principle and when the issues are important to her own well-being and happiness. She moves contently through life, producing adventures in which she is the star.
